Performer Bio: Meet the Magician Behind the Magic
Jeff Madsen is the resident magician, proud proprietor, and driving creative force behind the Frederick Magic Theater & Lounge. After a successful, fast-paced career in the internet technology sector, Jeff made a life-changing decision to trade algorithms for illusions, pursuing his lifelong passion for sleight of hand.
His signature production, Mystery & Mayhem, is a direct reflection of that journey—blending clean, highly interactive comedy, mind-reading, and death-defying escape artistry. Rather than relying on large theatrical props or camera tricks, Jeff focuses entirely on close-up miracles, performing just inches away from the front row. His sharp wit and engaging performance style have quickly made the theater one of the most talked-about hidden gems in Downtown Frederick's historic arts district.
