Check-in for the show begins at 7:00pm. We invite you to arrive early to enjoy a beverage in the Magic Lounge. Seating and pre-show magic begin at 7:30pm and the stage performance begins at 8:00-9:00pm. The Magic Lounge closes at 10:00pm.
Please note our theater requires navigating stairs to access the seating area, and we do not have an elevator or ramp available.

The Houdini Séance

Step beyond the veil for a spine-chilling evening of mystery, history, and the supernatural. Hosted inside the ultra-intimate Frederick Magic Theater & Lounge, The Houdini Séance invites you to take a seat at the table for an authentic re-creation of the legendary dark séances of the 1920s.
Harry Houdini spent his final years challenging the afterlife and exposing fraudulent mediums—yet he left behind a secret code, promising his wife Bess that he would escape the grave if it were humanly possible. Tonight, we put that promise to the test.
Magic & Mixers
Your evening begins at 6:30 PM with guest check-in, offering the perfect opportunity to arrive early and enjoy a crafted beverage in the atmospheric Magic Lounge. Promptly at 7:00 PM, guests will board our exclusive double-decker bus for a pre-show excursion to True Standard Distillery and a scenic tour of Frederick. This special journey concludes with a 7:50 PM return and disembarkation back at the theater. Finally, the main event begins at 8:00 PM as the curtain rises for the headline magic showcase on the main stage.
