Jeff Madsen is the resident magician and proud proprietor of the Frederick Magic Theater & Lounge a dream he’s spent years crafting. After a successful career in the fast-paced world of internet tech, Jeff made a life-changing decision: to follow his true passion for magic and bring a unique experience to downtown Frederick that blends comedy, mind-reading, and daring escapes.
From Tech to Magic: A Leap of Faith
Born and raised in Chicago, Jeff's love for magic began at the age of eleven when he first performed a trick for his family; that spark stayed with him even as his career took him down a different path in technology. For years, magic remained his personal passion, a side hobby that brought joy to friends and family. But when the opportunity arose, Jeff took a bold leap leaving behind the tech world to immerse himself in the craft he’s always loved.
Creating Something Special in Downtown Frederick
After more than a decade of studying, practicing, and perfecting his skills, Jeff found his place in the magic community, delighting audiences with his interactive performances and surprises that go far beyond the typical magic show.
